3/50 Project

3/50 Project

While enjoying breakfast at the Wilde Roast this weekend, I saw a table topper with the following edict: spend 50 bucks at 3 local, independent businesses.  I love this challenge. Where to go? How to spend? Clearly I couldn’t pick just 3 locals, but I will participate.  Here are three in Minneapolis to get you started:

The Wilde Roast is one of my faves. They make amazing mac and cheese. And have mimosas. And they serve lattes with Obladen cookies.

The General Store of Minnetonka also has a fantastic cafe, but I love the selection in the store. Need a gift for someone? This is one stop shopping.

Saving the world one stitch at a time, Crafty Planet has so many lovely bolts of Amy Butler Fabric- it is like a candy store!

What are you waiting for? Go save the economy and support local businesses!

Awesome idea! I am so glad you blogged about it. I actually saw it and stole it and now have the concept over on my blog. I love, love, love this plan. Thanks Meg!
